This project started from stylized art practice. I chose an photograph for reference, which was a nice little greenhouse/shed that I found online and I got sucked into it. Everything Is simple meshes and UV mapped to a single texture using colour gradients, the exception is the character model, which inspired by Animal Crossing uses 2D flipbook style animation for the face.

The character uses vertex colours to mask where the Eyes, Mouth, Nose, Skin and Body. All of which are coloured in engine. To animate the face there are exposed values in the character shader that offset the Eyes and Mouth.
